I contacted the seller to request a return and they provided a return label for the purchase price minus shipping. However, I then discovered that the incorrect item was sent so I am entitled to full refund including shipping. The seller agreed and indicated they have a return label ready but i must do a return request. So I canceled the 1st return with the expectation that I redo the request in the correct amount. Now, I cannot redo a canceled return! How do I get out of this and get my refund?

You have to open a new return with not as described as the reason.

You are correct... there are no 'do-overs' on eBay Return claims. You can go through PayPal (if you used them) or to your CC (if you used one) to open a claim. Note that with PayPal, you'll have to cover the return shipping cost... not sure how it works with a CC chargeback. Good luck.

"they have a return label ready"...sounds like the seller knew once you cancel the open claim he will be safe.
No returns because you closed the return.

1. Don't contact the seller again.
3. Start another return request here if that's how you paid. Then when told to return the incorrect item
mail the incorrect item back using the 2. prepaid return label you already have
to get your full refund. Don't reply if the seller says anything.
Otherwise @nmcity1 file a CREDIT NOT PROCESSED chargeback with your card issuer, provide the return tracking number that you mailed back with the incorrect item, and get your full refund.
Why Would a Customer File a Chargeback With Reason Code “Credit Not Processed?”
“Credit Not Processed” chargebacks are filed by customers who have returned their purchase but did not receive a refund from the merchant.

why would you cancel a return label. Should use it to send item back then contact Ebay. Seller did what he knew to do and took your return. Should have been satisfied with that. You were returning anyway, so why did it matter what he sent you?
