How to handle the fraud return?

Buyer bought the radio, then opened return 'doesn't matchdescription " and returned radio with swapped screen. He putted on radio his broken screen. I have the pics of the item I sent to him with serial numbers and pics of the item he returned. Labels are differentBut the problem is for eBay the pics are not evidence. How to handle like this case? does the police report about online fraud help in this case ? I have 4 like this cases for last month when buyers returned their broken items.

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. You are free to report any buyer to police, but it won't go beyond that. You are also free to pursue via small claims court, but the amount of the purchase would have to be worth the troubles for you. These issues come down to a he said/she said, and the buyer will always be on the right side in these cases. As a seller you can pursue through a court of law, if you feel the amount is worth it. Best of luck to you....
