I had someone order a pair of shoes that did not arrive to them at all (so now I’m out -$200). They opened up a inr case. Luckily for me, I had the same shoes and same size, so I can still get the customer his item. We initially agreed for him to rebuy them for $1 and that I will refund them after they were received, so they don’t pay extra. The only issue is, I’m worried that the buyer may open a refund request and they will get their money back and still keep the shoes. Is there any other way I could go about this return?

If your buyer hasn't received the shoes, they have nothing to return.
- For the INR, you can enter your tracking into the claim.
- For the shipment of another pair, you can 'Purchase another label' from the Orders (Paid and shipped) page.

I meant that after I ship them out, that they may open a refund request.
I also forgot to add more details.
when it was originally bought, it was an AG order. When he repurchased it, it was a regular, so IF I put the tracking number from the non AG order (the repurchase) into the AG order (the original purchase), EBay may flag or put restrictions on my account.

If you shipped with tracking and tracking doesn't show delivery, tell the buyer to open a case for non-receipt (INR).
Respond to the case and issue the full refund. (Buyer will be whole.)
Then tell the buyer you'll list the second pair of shoes which he can buy. Once he makes the second purchase and pays for it, you ship, again with tracking so you'll know whether it gets delivered.
EDIT: Is this one of the pairs of shoes that went to the authenticator? If so, the loss would be on ebay.
