First time doing a return as a seller and I'm so confused!! I sold an antique car part that apparently wasn't the correct year. I thought it was for a 1941 model packard but he says it wasn't. I'm not going to dispute it with him and I'll be glad to send him his money back $200 plus shipping. The problem is that when I went into the return on my end (after he requested it), it didn't get me the option to send him the label that I paid for. It only gave the option to make him pay for it. How do I change this? I'm willing to pay for the label myself. Thanks

Uh, oh. It sounds like your buyer selected 'Doesn't fit', which would be a remorse reason and would cause the buyer to foot the bill. Can you go into the order and use the drop-down menu (to the left) to send a refund for the s&h cost? 🤔

That's exactly what he did. When I go into the order, the only option I have on my end is to go ahead with a full refund or a partial refund. I have no option for S&H specifically. I have no idea how to handle this.
To be honest, I did a lot of research before listing this part and I'm very confident that it is as decribed. Either way and with that said, I have no issue with doing the return. I'm just beyond confused at how to get him the shipping label and I'm certain he is not going to be happy to have to pay to ship it back.

Have you got any experience with a situation such as ^^^ this? Or do you know anyone better to tag? Thanks in advance...

Go to pirateship.com and buy a label. Send it to the buyer through eBay messages.

No prob. There really isn't another option. Buyer-pays remorse returns on the listing, buyer filed a remorse return, no way for the seller to generate a seller-paid label through the eBay return. If the seller wants to cover shipping, which they are not required to do, they have to buy the label off eBay.
