How to add a tracking number to a return when the shipping label from ebay/seller is not used?

I bought about 4 items from the same seller. I opened a return for all of them. each item gave me the option to use the supplied shipping label and charge me about $5 each. Problem is I only need to use 1 label as I can put all the items in the same box. Not going to pay $20 to ship all items back. How can you manually enter a tracking number into a return? It gives no option to do it. Only option is to use the supplied label and be charged for it

Hi, you should be able to add the same tracking number to each return.

Here’s how to add the tracking information to your return if you’re using your own return shipping label:

1. Go to the return request in Purchase History.
2. Select the shipping carrier from the dropdown list. If you select Other, enter the carrier name.
3. Enter the tracking number.
4. Select Mark as sent.

When you you ask a mental, it will drive you mental. You provided clear details @tonycstech there was no need for the mental to repeat. eBay removed the option for scammers to add our own return tracking number, so now eBay must add that for us instead. 

Just private message eBay here on Facebook, and give eBay the label that you bought.
