How long does a buyer wait for a return shipping label before the item is considered abandoned?

I purchased a $3k sewing machine that cost $250 to ship. The item arrived damaged & unusable, and the seller refunded the total purchase price including the shipping to the buyer. I have tried six times to get the seller to send me the prepaid return shipping label (at their expense per ebay's policy for items damaged in transit) and the seller keeps stalling saying they are going to print one and send it to me, but they never do. Now, I'm not getting any response. How long do I wait for an unresponsive seller to provide a return shipping before the item is considered abandoned by the seller?

How long has been since they refunded?

If you opened a return for the damaged item, the seller should have provided return shipping then, if they wanted it returned.

The return has been processed/refunded. It has been 24 days since the refund. Can they turn around in a couple of months and demand it be returned and have ebay garnish the refund?

Nope...When a seller refunds in full the retrun case closes and the buyer gets to keep the item..Apparently your seller doesn't want the item back .

They can't take back your money..when the return case is closed ..it is done.
