How do I stop a return request

I requested to return an item  I want to exchange it so I don't need a return

To cancel a return request

1. Go to your Purchase history and find the item.
2. Select See request details in the More actions dropdown menu.
3. Select Close your request and choose your reason from the dropdown menu.

Be careful though. If you cancel a return I'm not sure you can request an exchange.

No problem at all in doing this.

Message your seller that you would prefer an exchange and not a refund.

If seller agrees then ask him to send you tracking number of exchanged item and on receipt of item you will close the return.

In the unlikely event that having received your exchanged item you do not close the return then your seller can ask eBay to step in who will view all messages and in my experience will close the case without a refund to you the buyer.
