How do I get a return for an item I purchased and received but eBay removed the listing??

 I’ve been in contact with the seller and they are okay with the return, but I can’t get a return label because eBay removed the listing ? What do I do, I can’t ask eBay because the purchase doesn’t exist to them.

You may have to go straight to your credit card or paypal.

Item should still be in ur purchase history. ebay has to account for all funds as a payment processor now. Next to the item, should be a box with More Actions - Return this item. If you are within 30 days of delivery, a series of questions should begin. Pick as your reason - Doesn't Match Description, take some picks to upload & away you go.

I managed to finally talk with an actual human being with eBay and he helped me resolve getting a return label. Don’t ask how, I got bounced around so many times I probably couldn’t repeat it again 

the reason I couldn’t get a label was because they said I purchased the item under quest registry, which makes no sense 🤷‍♂️
