Hi,
I bought an item from a seller. After paying, I decided to cancel the item, found something else. The buyer said it was too late to cancel bc it had already shipped (late on a Sunday night). He agreed to refund me and sent me a pre-paid label via ebay. I inserted the packing slip into the unopened bag, applied the return label and took to UPS.
The tracking number on my drop-off package receipt shows that it was received at a dock and signed off. I printed off that page from UPS.
There is a tracking number on the return area of ebay, but I have no idea where that number came from and I can't seem to edit it to insert the tracking alphanumeric number from UPS.
I have contacted the seller and the last thing he said was "Let me Check."
Do I appeal now or contact the seller again?
Unfortunately, this is so far the worse experience I have ever had on ebay and I have been a member for many years with no issues before. I have sold a few items, but mostly buy.
Thanks for any help.
Cindy

You'll probably have to contact eBay CS on this one. Go to the bottom of this page and click the Contact Us link. In the pop-up that appears select See More and find Contact an Agent. There you can request a call back. Good Luck. https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041&st=12&pos=1&query=Return...

Thanks, I did contact ebay customer service after uploading my tracking info as a scanned document. They ruled in my favor in less than 30 minutes. My money was refunded.
I was not happy with that seller, but ebay customer service was very good and I appreciated that.
