Hi out there. Has anyone had problems with getting a refund from China for a broken item?

I bought a fire stick for 17.00  It didn't work. Seller was china. They told me I had to send it back. So I paid 11.00 dollars to send it back to the return address. Then they told me I had to send it to China next after I sent it.. We all know how much that cost. I wasn't aloud to send it back to address in California the was on the package. Ebay told me twice they would pay for it. They ruled for China after I was told they would cover it.  I appealed it. Didn't win. The seller is bad. Ebay is going to take China's side folks. Don't buy from China! I had copies of receipts and everything. Didn't matter. Ebay doesn't even give you a reason.

You should have filed an item not as described case. Then they pay and you get refunded.  If you have tracking for the return, file the case with ebay and attach the tracking number.

They only paid $11 so it wasn't tracked.

They needed to file a not as described case from the get go and if the seller didn't provide a refund or a return label they could've asked eBay for the refund.

What's bad is the dishonesty of the seller. You know the seller got it back, tracking or not a good honest seller would've refunded.  But what can you expect from the the Counterfeit Capital of the World, a reputation earned through their illegal practices.

Please stay away from China junk. The Firestick was probably fake is why it was a piece of chit.
