Feedback extortion

The item I bought turned out to be counterfeit. I wasn't going to leave feedback since I planned on returning this item. I contacted the seller, no response. I opened a return, no response. The next day I left negative feedback; shortly after they message saying that they would process my return if I took off the review and to let them know when I did so they could approve the return.

I feel like that is dishonest of them and they weren't going to contact me until I had left a review. At this time, everything is at a stalemate and they have still not approved or processed my return. I haven't deleted the feedback because I am unsure if I can trust their word that they would provide the refund, and I prefer them to accept my return first before deleting the feedback. Should I just delete it? Suggestions?

And, what does the 100% buyer guarantee that eBay has mean for me? I requested the return the day it arrived because the item was clearly unauthentic.

Also, the whole thing has me so down it doesn't make me want to purchase from ebay anymore. I am so bummed about this experience.

Feedback extortion

You just contact ebay on facebook.com/eBayForBusiness

Let the CS reps know about the message that you are being blackmailed.

eBay should be aware to help be aware of bad sellers who probably take advantage of less informed customers.

Report him from your messaged.

EBay will accept the return for you. You don't need the seller to accept.
