So I purchased the item 18-07307-70542 July 12th, all was well for a few weeks and even left seller feedback on the item and next thing the phone started have lots of problems bugs, random crash, not charging, unable to use speaker phone, and some glitches. Al of this was not listed in his description of the item mind you and I reached out to the seller two weeks ago and was told they will send me another phone when they have another come into stock in a week or two. So a week passes I start to have more issue and send the seller another message and he never responds. I open a case and eBay closed it just as fast as I opened it. This product also was backed by eBay's money back guarantee. Why was it closed? This is my second time having issues with eBay and their so called money back guarantee. Am I out my money? What's my recourse? Why doesn't eBay stand behind SNAD?

You have 30 days after actual delivery to start a return request, then 21 business days to ask eBay to step in it. Unfortunately @pureprostate-9 your seller tricked you past the 30-day deadline by dangling the offer of a replacement.

Now file a dispute here at PayPal, where you have 180 days from payment. Immediately go back to the dispute and click Escalate to PayPal. Then when you're instructed, return the item with online-viewable tracking with your own money, to get your refund when the tracking shows that the return has delivered back.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate you taking the time. Unfortunately I made the purchase with my debit card instead of PayPal. I am disputing the charge with my CC company. Its unfortunate because this isn't my first time having issues when it comes to eBay and deceptive sellers like this. It will be my last though as I will stick to Amazon or Facebook when I make my future buys. Sucks because I often times I will find things here I cant find elsewhere. The other time I had an issue I had bought a computer case that the seller sent broken so I opened a dispute SNAD and was given a partial refund since the seller blamed me for the damage and ebay sided with them on it. I had to wait two months to get a full refund with back and forth to ebay asking them why they were not honoring their money back guarantee, which was a huge headache especially with their outsourced call centers. Not wasting more of my life with ebay if they cant protect buyers. Amazon I have never had one issue, if there was a problem boom return it back and drop off at Khols. I can see why Amazon is taking over.

Also I will add that I have contacted ebay CS on this issue and will be noting that the seller was also deceptive when telling me they would replace the item. I have the message logged. Not sure what good that will do because it seems ebay always sides with the seller.

Forgot to add that I had covid as well when I contacted the seller and was out for over two weeks with wife in the hospital and so on. Even mentioned this to the seller and how important it was to get another phone.
