I opened a return for Item Not As Described...
Time passed, today I received an email from ebay that the seller had contacted ebay about the case and the case had been closed in the seller's favor since I never shipped the item back...
But the seller never provided a return shipping label!
What gives?

No one here can see your account to know what is going on. These are user boards made up of other buyers and sellers not eBay employees.
Did you open a return request and if so, which one did you open, or did you just contact the seller?
eBay is not the seller so would be the person you bought from that would be taking care of the return, eBay does not provide a return label.

Did you return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in?

The seller does not pay for all the different reasons for returns...it depends what the reason for the return was and if you might have to pay for the return.
