I bought ESET internet security service for 3 years and it got canceled in 3 months..
The seller that had good reviews diapered and Ebay has no true support about this, no were to contact them about even!

So much for good service when you need it

Tough to tell what happened.

Here is the way to tell how long your License Key was valid (for Windows)

Perhaps the seller sold a 3mos 'trial' key as if it was good for 3yrs. Perhaps something went wrong with the entitlement period configured for your 3yr key. Only ESET can verify the true period for the key sold.

Subscription purchases can be tricky since you often have to verify they are correct before the return period for 'Item not as described' has run out. If it was a paypal purchase you have 180days to file a return claim. This might offer some relief for your situation.

eBay does have good service for a period of 30 days after the purchase. Beyond that timeframe you are not covered.

It shouldn't  come as a surprise.  Go back and click on the Money Back Guarantee in any listing and read about it.
