I sold camera equipment to a buyer. I even video my packing showing condition of equipment and how safely I packaged it. even showing how I sealed the case it was being shipped in. The buyer says it was all damaged when arrived. Also dismantling the camera to show that something was broken, something that I had clearly stated in my sale copy. Ebay has sided with the buyer and demanding I rerun the money. This person has either damaged the equipment himself, or it was damaged in shipping which I find impossible due to how I packed it. Ebay simply accepts buyers story with ought truly investigating. And I have zero recourse. Ebay threatens me by saying I have to accept or I will lose the money and the equipment. Does anyone know of any recourse??

That's pretty much how it works, you are a seller so it's your fault. If you got eBay involved you probably got a ding on your account and too many will increase your fees. The buyer probably never read the listing or will send it back minus the parts they needed, happens often. You need to send them a shipping label then deal with whatever they return by means of police reports, mail fraud reports, reporting buyer or deducting up to 50% if by chance you are a top rated seller. If you don't send a label, eBay will refund them and they get to keep the item.

Recourse: non:
You have the choice to " return for refund" or 'refund with out return".
eBay has no idea what you sent or condition item was received. They find for the buyer.
Videos are useless due to easily faked etc.... and still would not guarantee what was shipped or condition it arrived in.

So, let's say I'm trying to defraud the buyer. I make a video of the packing of the item. Go as far as slapping the label on the box. Then when I've stopped recording. I reprint the label, put it on a different box and mail that one instead.
Because ebay has no idea what was really sent, they go with the buyer's statement.
And that's the way it is.
Yep, ebay will send a prepaid label to the buyer and the buyers packs it up and ships it back to you. You pay shipping both ways and you refund the buyer once you have the item back in your possession. Or you do nothing and ebay refunds and lets the buyer keep the item.
Again, that's the way it is.

Like that o’ Bruce Hornsby and The Range song….
”It’s just the way is…something’s will never change.”
@marodr_9837 , getting the item back and refunding is your only option. You can salvage and resell.

the buyer wants to return the item and knows how to do it
the best thing you can do is say yes to the return
there is no recourse to return abuse
some ebayers will go the return reduction thing bit I give full refunds to everyone
return abuse is a common thing and you just have to deal with it

There isn't any.
You refund or ebay will do it for you and you definitely DO NOT want that.
Your choices on how you refund are few:
1. refund upon return of the item
2. refund without return of the item
3. if the buyer agrees a partial refund that the two of you work out
The clock is ticking so you best decide which number is best for you toot sweet.
