E Mail /Phone of Addressee Required on Customs declaration form

I have initiated a return on an Item that, by mistake, I ordered  wrong size. I will pay return shipping to China. On my local online customs declaration form, it is a requirement that include the addressee's email or phone number. I guess the postal service will use this to message him when it arrives. Ebay provides his name and address but I can't see an e mail or phone number anywhere. I have messaged him for it. However if he chooses not to provide it, do I have any other options? The online customs declaration will not complete without it. Your advice would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Chris

E Mail /Phone of Addressee Required on Customs declaration form

I usually just use my own phone number or alternate email if I don't have theirs.

It always works for me, but I fill out international shipments by hand in person at the post office, not online-I use endicia/stamps.com for shipping and its more of a headache online for some reason.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the suggestion. If they do not supply their phone or e mail, I suppose I could try that. Although, without their e mail or phone, I am worried that in China they will not get any kind of message telling them the package has arrived.

Kind regards

Chris

PS I much prefer to fill the details in person at the post office. When I went there this morning the lady explained that I have to do it first online, then print the barcode and stick it on the packet, and only then can I take it to the post office to pay for shipping. I much prefer the old days!
