We bought an apple product and months later, when it is not getting Apple updates effectively, we find out from an Apple store that it is a fake product. The seller ignores us, and since it's outside of the return window we cannot begin a return or appeal. How do I contact eBay about this? No phone numbers or emails on the site! Thank you.

With eBay, you have 30 days to inspect / verify the product. After that, there isn't anything you can do with eBay.
Another option you have is to file a charge-back with your credit card company. Some will let you dispute a charge up to 6 months.

Sorry to hear that happened.
If it's the seller that left you feedback more than 90 days / less than 6 mo ago, that seller has terrible feedback. I suggest reviewing a seller's FB before purchase next time.
The SquareTrade warranty you purchased does not apply to items fraudulently described.
eBay's claim window is 30 days, as is PayPal's for a not as described item. So, as orangehound said above, your only option is to check with your funding source (credit card or bank) on the length of their claim window.

There is one other option and that would be small claims court.
@marymcg_2388 I don't know your location but your best bet would be to sue them in their (California) state. You would probably win the case if you can get evidence from Apple that it's a counterfeit product.

I agree with @albertabrightalberta that you may win in small claims court.
But you might very well win by default because the seller did not respond. Unfortunately, that places you in the situation of having to pursue the seller for payment of the judgement, a potentially difficult and expensive task, Your best shot for that would be, if they are still actively selling on Ebay, an order to Ebay to hold their funds and use them to fund the judgement.

You don't.
There isn't anything to contact ebay about.

On eBay, you're given 30 days to claim an item is not as described.
If you paid with Paypal, you have 180 days to state an item was NAD.
Or, you usually have at least several months to do a chargeback on your credit card.

It's less than 30 days and ebay is not contacting me back

"We bought an apple product and months later . . ."
"Its less than 30 days and eBay is not contacting me back."
Confusing information.
You had 30 days past delivery to open that item not as described case.
If it's been more, then you can do a charge back on your card.
Please read or re-read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers.

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

'not getting Apple updates effectively'....how old is it and what is it?
Older models cannot keep getting updates due to storage space.
'Apple Store that it is a fake product'...we don't know if it's a computer, iPhone or whatever.
I think it might be hard to fake a computer or iPhone...but maybe I'm wrong.
Interesting that you didn't say what it was....

No need to contact eBay, after 30 days they are out of the picture.
