Hello.
I mistakenly open a case as a return, which was closed. I should have opened it as "Item not received", but now the system tells me that I already have a case, which can't be reopened. Unfortunately, trying to contact Ebay has been like a bad twilight episode. The automated voice just keeps telling me my case is resolved, and that I am apparently happy..... I guess I'm lucky, that this is the first problem I've had, since I've been using Ebay since 2001. Is there any way to get contact a human that can assist?

eBay won't open another case, you need to go to PayPal or your credit card company to file a case

Please open INR with Paypal - a chargeback should only be used as a last resort. Follow the Paypal instructions and do not close the case until it is resolved to your satisfaction.
As for Customer Service - steer clear as you will get much better advice coming here than any robot can give you
