A buyer of mine recently had bought a watch from me and wanted a refunded, and I told him that he needs to send item back for refund. We did a refund request. And he has into Aug 18 to return the package. I paid the shipping label to send it back. Everything was going good into the tracking number said on Aug 12 11:14 that package was ready for pickup not even a few minutes later at 11:33 they said insufficient address and returned the package back to the buyer, I did not have time to check or go to postal because aren't we all busy to do that on the dot. I did open a case like a member had told me to do because first the buyer was demanding a refund but didn't want to return item. All that case did was refunded the buyer without package being sent. I had opened an appeal about not receiving the package and eBay said they can't refund me for the item because buyer proved they did send package but on my end I didn't even get it and they told me to contact local carrier but there aren't option on the website to contact them. Which is **bleep** in my opinion, bec yes the buyer did send it but it was returned to him because eBay failed to put my shipping address on the label. Now I'm under -82.24 because of the refund and all the extra stuff that eBay does like fees etc. I tried contacting buyer to see if they could kindly send it back but they aren't responding. Buyer didn't even try to contact me about the label having wrong address.

Ebay will put the address you have on file with them for the return address. Did the buyer give you the address they sent it to? If they did, is the address one that you have used before?
If they did not give you the address used or if it is not an address you have ever used then it could be a return scam where something of low value is sent to a random address near you to fool eBay into believing the return is completed.
You mentioned someone saying item had incomplete address and is being returned to sender. I would take that message to the post office and see if they could offer more details about the incomplete address.

eBay puts the address you have on file. It is all automated.
You need to check your return address and make sure it is correct.
Like sellers who get packages returned because the buyer used the wrong address, the buyer is under no obligation to contact you or go out of their way to resend the package.
Check your address in all locations on eBay.
Check with the PO to see why the address had an issue.

I doubt they could do anything about it now since buyer did pick the fastest shipping choice and item was returned to him lat his address ess than 48hrs

Return shipping labels from ebay use your registered information as defined in your user profile. No more, no less. I suggest you check there, correct it for next time & accept the loss as a tax write-off at the end of year.
