Buyer has made numerous false and contradicting statements about the condition of the item purchased and the sellers' description. First saying item is "worn out, not useable, too much wear". Indicative of an item loose with excessive lash and in excess of acceptable manufacturer recommended tolerances. Then saying item is "hard to turn by hand". Indicative that the item is displaying normal drag of a part within acceptable manufacturer tolerances. Which is it? One description contradicts the other. He also says the "seller stated the item is good used condition", then separately states "seller didn't sate anything about the condition". The contract states that seller does not accept returns and the buyer knows this as an experienced Ebay merchant/customer, yet demands a return with no basis of fact in any of the correspondence shared with the seller. I have expressed a lengthy thread of the buyer actions and pointed out these assertions and contradictions, yet the buyer is exploiting the disadvantaged position the seller has been placed in.

Your post reads as if you're the seller. Yes, you are at a disadvantage when a buyer claims 'Not as Described'.

If you're the seller and you want it back before refunding, accept the return and provide a shipping label.

It doesn't matter what the buyer is saying. Bottom line is the buyer isn't happy with the item. Accept the return, issue the refund when you get the item back.
In business the customer is always right even if we think they are wrong.

A buyer needs no basis, only three magic words , not as described. Sellers have no say in the matter.

All the buyer has to say is "Not As Described".
It matters not what "contradictory statements" he makes.
Have you read the MBG for buyers?

The buyer "is exploiting the disadvantaged position the seller has been placed in."
Would that be the fact that the seller is required, per eBay rules, to send the buyer a prepaid return label and to refund in full when he receives the item back?
Just curious, as a seller, were you not aware of this?
