Buyer Didnt Send Item Back In Original Box

A buyer from 3 months past the refund date, so he  disputed a order with his credit card company.He had the item for 3 months then i guess decided he didn't want it, And of course it went in their favor i tested the item and it works fine. I wanted to sell it with the original box like i did before. Can i challenge his return and say he didn't send it like i sent it to him?

Condition of returned items policy

My Item lost its value due to the packaging missing as i listed it as new in the box i could have listed it open box and kept its value. Since i tested the Item thoroughly to rule out any faults.

You can only  deduct the cost of the pkg if you are a trs, and have free thirty day returns. Otherwise you have to give a full refund, including shipping.And since the buyer went thru his cc, Ebay has no input in the case.

Since the buyer went to their credit card, what Ebay says doesn't mean anything.

You're lucky you got the item back, with them going through their credit card, most sellers don't.

Sorry this happened to you and pleased that at least you got something back... the 'meat' of the listing, anyway.

Selling with 'No Returns' negates your ability to reduce the refund. Hopefully, you can relist and recover something.
