when is search going to be fixed to work?
is there any way to get rid of the pop up on the searches that dont return but just a few items.
thanks
If you're experiencing issues with search we can let our tech team know. Please share more info on the issue you're experiencing. The more detail the better!
A friend of mine who is a research librarian advised me NOT to use "()" in my searches, but to do separate searches for each of the search terms.
When I did that, I got many MORE responses to each of the individual search terms than I had when I combined them into a single search.
THAT'S RIDICULOUS!

These Barbie Butterick patterns are from the 1960s and were produced for Barbie, Midge, Babs, Annette dolls and more. And this exact verbage is printed clearly on the pattern envelope fronts. I could understand if I was using the Barbie name and it wasn't on the pattern envelope, but it is, and can be clearly seen in my photos. "These are original Butterick patterns for Barbie", etc... from the 1960s, so I don't understand the suspension for brand misuse. I accurately described these patterns.
I even checked the category, and they were in the correct vintage doll clothing pattern category.
Hello krazzykats,
We've determined that some of your listings haven't followed our Brand Name Misuse policy. ...

Hi,
How does eBay define a "new user" versus "all others?"
Thanks,

Hi DJ,
We'll reply to the Fixed Price Relisting thread when we have more info.
Thanks.

Are sellers going to be forced to use the seller hub and the new listing tool or will we have a choice of either? I am not happy with the seller hub or the new listing tool.
No plans to require Seller Hub at the moment. We are always working to enhance this feature for you, so if you have any feedback feel free to provide it! You can access the Advanced Listing tool from the Sell option in the upper right corner of any eBay page, then select Advanced tool from the top right of the next screen.
Will sellers EVER be required to use seller hub and the new listing tool?
We are always working to enhance products and have retired old products in the past as they become outdated. I can't speak for any plans that may be made in the future, but I can say that there are no plans for this at the moment.

Sorry about the multiply posts. I rarely have a chance to submit a question.
Recently my shipping module has changed and my listing have been effected negatively by whatever you did. I am trying to edit them back to normal but the options are missing. I need to reset up my combined shipping for like items but there is no longer that option. I am an active user in the seller hub which seems to be lacking several seller based tools we used in the past.
Thanks
Hi @goodluckselling - No need to be sorry at all! We love the questions
That said, I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Since this would require us to look at your account to see what happened and what needs to be changed, I recommend contacting our customer service teams: https://ocsnext.ebay.com/ocs/cuhome?from_ocs=1 They'll be able to take a closer look and offer advice on correcting this.

I would always recommend double-checking the policy to make sure any updates are made to the information you're providing. Thank you so much for all you do in the Community!
I appreciate that advice was given to double-check a policy page before giving advice to another poster, however...This response also says to me that policies and policy pages are changed directly on the policy page and the only way to know about it is by viewing the page.As a seller I am not going to read every single policy page every day just to see if anything has changed and if my listings are suddenly no longer compliant. Why are policy updates not posted to the Announcements area as they occur with a link to the appropriate policy page? And is this something that we can make happen go forward?Hi @copper.boom - I can appreciate your concern on this. With how many policies we have, we wouldn't be able to post an announcement with each update. That said, we will make announcements on major changes. I simply suggest doing a quick glance over from time to time just as a refresher.
Heidi - and that is even more concerning. With that amount of updates we should be notified. Why can't an announcement be added every 2 weeks, or even once a month with the updates?
As you said, there are so many policies and to do a "quick glance over" isn't really possible... I do a thorough read-through about once a year, and look at specific pages regularly when questions arise, but it's unreasonable to say the changes can't be announced.

I would like to see a box to check off ,when buyer ask seller to hold of shipping until they get home from their trip. So it does not harm the S/H time seller has setup.
Nice suggestion. We'll float it to the team that's responsible for that part of the site. At the moment, if you get a request like that through eBay messages and you were to receive a miss on this metric for that reason our Customer Support team could review that for you.
