The upcoming Holiday season. It might be because they found the item elsewhere for a cheaper price. It happens a lot this time of year.

Hi @mr_lincoln, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'll look into it.
We are actively working to get more Community exposure on the eBay site, and in eBay tools and resources, including Seller Hub.

Seller Hub Shortcuts disfunctional and need link to The Community
I can find no link to The Community in Seller Hub and the Shortcuts customization functionality is disfunctional ... can not add my own shortcuts, like The Community and the URL ... the Add button is pale blue, not solid, meaning NOT active or functional.

To tag onto the above posts about email messaging, there does seem to be an issue with the timeliness of email notifcations. I this morning received notifications on items that sold on Monday... In one of the threads about "eBay adding Best Offer" (don't get me started) two people noted that they had items altered during the night, but no email message. In a couple other threads extremely late or non-existant messaging was mentioned.
Could there be an issue with the messaging system that generates these emails?

Back in October there was an issue with sales tax. Even though my listings were set up correctly, buyers were not being charged sales tax. I brought up this issue on the chat and to Customer service.
I called into customer service when it first happened. They did not know it was an issue.
On a subsequent call, when it happened multiple times, I called back in and was told it was already reported and that any credits were on hold because they did not want sellers to get "double credit"
I called back in November 14 after a response from here from @Anonymous and I was told that a credit would be requested and would take a day or so to process. @Anonymous also said that if I gave him the date and time he would review the call because the CSR told me that I had to end my variation/muliple listings and list them again by using sell similar because he said my listings were corrupt.
I still see no credit.
So I called back today. I was told that they could see that I called several times and could see that I did not get any credits and he wanted all the information again, including user IDs, dates and item numbers.
He said he would put through a credit when he got this information.
So my point:
ebay's issue
My revenue loss (I had to pay the sales tax myself)
several calls to Customer Service and posts to this chat AND an email to @Anonymous
And pulling out the records from mid October several times.
I probably wasted more time trying to get credit than it was worth.
If this is the kind of Customer Service ebay provides they are falling down on the job. This is not acceptable to treat a paying customer this way when it was ebay's issue/glitch.
Thank you.

Most of my items are older and don't have UPC codes, etc. But when an item does have one, I use it. Because I want to appear on the "product page"
So I'm mystified here. I have this item:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/162778647978
Note I created custom IS for UPC , Brand and MPN....so all the info is there. At the very top of my listing is a link to the product page, which is indeed for my product. But my product does not appear there. (It has been listed for a while, so this isn't a matter of just waiting an hour or so.)
Is it because I don't show the box as my gallery picture?
Is it because mine is used, and the Product page currently only includes "new"?
Is it because I created custom ISs? (there weren't any otherwise).
(Originally, I had this listed in two ebay categories. I re-listed it in only one category because I thought that might be the problem, but that didn't solve anything either.)
I know my price is on the higher side, and I don't expect to be at the top of the Product page. But I DO expect to be ON the product page.
Any help would be appreciated.
The Collectibles category doesn't require UPC - the other items appear to be listed in Toys & Hobbies. Your custom Item Specific will not attach your item to the catalog, so if you want to be attached to the eBay catalog, you can list in Toys & Hobbies.
Thanks for selling on eBay.

This is a year round issue. I have had buyers tell me before they found a better price. I am talking about all the people who are not sure how the item got on their purchased item list in the first place.

I'm assuming you have the shortcuts box visible 😎 Does it have a link labelled "Seller Hub Discussion Board"? Mine has had that since day one.
The add button doesn't change until you start typing in a URL. And just in case you did like me, the top box is the TEXT for the link and the bottom box is for the URL. (Why the grazzal frazzle blimpty blank does this keep saying invalid URL... oh...).

Good afternoon eBay Team,
PO Box Delivery Confirmation Questions
- If an item is shipped to a PO Box does Delivery Confirmation show delivered when the item is scanned at the Post Office where the PO Box resides? If the package is too big for the PO Box I understand from our local Post Office that a note will be placed in the PO Box and the package will sit in the Post Office waiting for the PO Box owner.
- If Signature Confirmation is required on a PO Box address, does Delivery Confirmation occur ONLY when the Buyer signs for the item AND if it takes them a week or longer to get to the Post Office can an INR be processed prior to them signing for the package?
Hi @mr_lincoln, when signature requirement is purchased and the item is shipped to a PO box, the tracking will indicate it is available for pickup once it reaches the Post Office. For an item that requires signature confirmation (those over $750), we would instruct the buyer to go retreive the item and give them some time to take these steps before taking action on a claim.
For those items where Signature Confirmation is not required by eBay (items under $750), the tracking showing the item is available for pickup would be sufficient delivery confirmation to protect a seller in an item not received request.

For me, that does happen from time to time year round. But I find I get far more of them this time of year.

In last weeks' Community Chat, post #41, brian denied a seller's request for relief from a buyer
circumventing a buyer block on the grounds that there was no clear evidence to ebay that the buyer was trying to disrupt the seller's business.
So, isn't the seller the sole judge of whether a buyer is disruptive? Ebay would have no knowledge of that buyer's past interactions with that seller, e.g. things such as unreasonable demands, fishing for a partial refund etc.
The policy clearly states that using a different id to circumvent a buyer block is a policy violation.
If ebay won't back a seller when a buyer circumvents a buyer block, then the whole BBL program might as well be scrapped.
Hi @alcoforever - you as a seller are definitely able to consider something disruptive. When it comes to what we consider unwelcome or malicious, if we have evidence that a buyer circumvented a block with intent to harm a listing or to leave negative or neutral feedback, or low DSRs we can work on an appeal of those.
We can definitely view previous interactions various members have had with you as a seller, and can then take any included details in the 'Report a buyer' section into account when investigating buyer activities.
Please utilize the 'Report a buyer' flow to report any members you feel are circumventing a block you have in place so that appropriate review and action can be taken. Thanks!

Thanks Doug, I have a link at the bottom on My eBay Selling page and other pages over there but I have been trying to use Seller Hub more, so obvioulsy I want to see all the changes, updates, upgrades, doo-dads, tile sizing and customization (yes, my idea to size them again!) and milkshake ordering added sooner rather than later LOL!

I was searching to buy an item on ebay and found a listing that I liked. The seller has TRS and the TRSplus seal was present, they had a 30 day return policy.
I clicked on the "see details"
And there the seller wrote, "returns only accepted if the item is grossly not as described"
My question:
Which is right? Does the seller have to stand by the return policy or am I stuck with the item if the seller thinks it is a buyer's remorse or changed my mind is the reason?
Will I be able to return the item?

Seeing a lot more of these threads where Sellers are abusing 'buyer requested cancel':
How are these Sellers held accountable for doing this?
Shouldn't eBay check email traffic when a seller makes this claim?
That seems a very logical precaution to me.
@vrykalak, we definitely review messaging when concerns are raised and will work to protect our community if there are signs of abuse.
