Great reply regarding vintage. But I don't sell toys?

Pat - great to see you back and happy to hear about the puppy and your sales. I have to agree - even promoting my listings for a small % has helped increase sales!

Hi Jen,
A chart showing the carrier shipping deadlines for the holiday would be helpful, thanks!

I saw the toy book and thougt what a great idea it was - the Sears Wishbook was something that every kid read cover to cover and the insert reminded me of that. Who ever thought that idea up is a genius!

Oh customer service is number 1. I do not block buyers for asking 100 questions. I answer their questions as accurately and nicely as I can.
I had one guy last week I was ready to strangle him but I just nicely answered his questions and he made a comment in a message about how nice I treated him and how he appreciated it. He lost out on the item cause someone bought it while he was asking questions. 😂😂
Patricia - looks like karma was on your side! You make an excellent and inspiring point. We have a unique site in that buyers have the ability to dialogue with sellers. Thank you for giving service with a smile.

@abfabvintage Not to worry. We're see buyer traffic and sales go up over the holiday season across all categories. If you check out the holiday playbook, you can get an idea from the buyer mindset column of the "Stay on Track" section which categories may peak in certain weeks. Example - right now many people are shopping for decor and fashion items.

Sorry, been reading a lot today lolol. Where do we find the Holiday Playbook? duh. Sorry.

Jennifer, as part of the Marketing team do you have any say in eBay shipping supply designs?
Next year it would be great if the seasonal supplies actually looked seasonal. The snowflakes from year one were great.
I would also love to see the 8" cubes return. That would help with my holiday sales prep.

Jen, I'm glad to hear that, about the toys, but I was thinking more about Holiday decor, ornaments, vintage gift wrap, that sort of thing. Nothing planned to highlight that stuff?
@my-cottage-books-and-antiques - We have been diligently promoting and merchandising various categories and products. For example, on TV and in digital ads we show different products, price points and condition. Specific to the home & garden category where you would find holiday decor, ornaments, you can see on this page > https://www.ebay.com/b/Home-Garden/11700/bn_1853126 > how some of the same type of merchandising and promotion comes to life. These events will be refreshed throughout the season, and the products and inventory can show up to a buyer through searches, product recommendations, and email gift guides and buying digests (more examples).

@tree*fern Are you reading my calendar? It's coming soon!! We'll have a PDF for you on the playbook, and maybe alan@ebay will let me post in Community too? (hint).
If you want a sneak peek, though, here's a pic.

I will pass the compliment along @tunicaslot. It is nostalgic of the Sears Wishbook, isn't it? Fun times.

@Anonymous I have a direct line to Santa's Shipping Supply Workshop. I'll put in a good word. They love the feedback. I haven't yet heard feedback on the 8" cube but that seems like a great "present" size box. We've been asked a lot about the shoe box sizes too. Happy to pass this along. Please keep sending ideas and comments!
