Hi -
Can you confirm whether or not INR Seller Metrics is (a) protected from USPS covid/political delays during the extended seller protection period (i believe through August), and (b) whether INR cases opened due to carrier delays during this period of seller protections will forever be removed from the metrics calculation, or if they will come back when the seller protection period expires.
I ask because I had one incident with USPS where they mis-delivered all orders dropped off one day, which unfortunately totaled 70 packages. This occurred during the first seller protection period, and my "projected" INR Metrics went straight to "very high", where they sit today. I don't know what if any protection I have from this.
Thanks.

I have a couple observations about the screen to create shipping labels. Both issues I brought up before, then one went away for quite a while, but it is back with a newly revised screen for me as of a couple weeks ago or more.
The issue with the package size being in a different order than the listing forms have is the ongoing issue that has never changed.
On the listing forms it appears as follows. Notice the last field is for thickness.
On the shipping label screen it appears as follows.
Here the package sizes start with the thickness of the package, so it is in reverse. Now on this one it is easy to see that but if the label is pulling from a listing that does not have any package size in it, the fields are blank and the seller can't know what order they are in for two reasons. They aren't labeled and for some reason in a different order than on the listing forms. Not sure what good reason one could have for this.
The other issue that has popped up again as it had gone away until this screen received an update, is the "BUYER SELECTED" shipping method. I have not a clue where it is pulling this information from, not only because I don't offer any such option on the listing but because it seem just to select the highest cost shipping. So it can't be the "Buyer" selecting this method because that option does not exist anywhere in the purchase flow and everything to do with Ebay choosing for the buyer and seller what method to use for whatever reason Ebay has.
So why the unnecessary differences and the incorrect label of "Buyer Selected" when the buyer did not select it???????????
Whoops I attached the wrong pic for the package size from the listing. I should have used it from the same listing so you could more easily see the order difference. Sorry about that.

Same here. My understanding is that is an account security issue. Last I knew the account security department has no phone support, but I haven't tried recently.

Please confirm when Managed Payments will start applying the fees to the total including sales tax.
There has been a lot of confusion/conflicting information floating around - some people saying they are seeing it happening now, others saying they are not, some saying that is a glitch, some saying (with policy pages showing the same) that it was supposed to start today and some saying it has been moved to September 1st.
Please clear up this confusion by providing a specific date that we can expect to see this change go into effect.
Hi @valueaddedresource - good question! Required disclaimer first: The information provided is accurate as of today's date (12 August 2020) but may become outdated in the future. If you are reading this at a later date please consider checking the Help Pages or request a call back from a managed payments teammate who can provide the most up to date information.
eBay has waived inclusion of the sales tax in the FVF calculation until September 1, 2020 resulting in potential savings to sellers participating in managed payments during the summer.

@mam98031 You can ADD that the package type defaults to "Letter" in Bulk Editor if you go to change something in the edit field where package type resides ... it has happened to me. If you do not access that particular field for anything during the Bulk Editor session then your listings will stay with the settings you created at the time of listing.

There is still limited customer support and buyers/sellers continue to be very unhappy about this. When is eBay going to stop hiding behind the pandemic as an excuse for not providing adequate customer service? Considering how eBay has been manipulating and disregarding our handling times it is quite clear eBay expects sellers to operate as though nothing is going on. Yes I am aware of the recent shipping changes that eBay FINALLY did, but it is too little too late. It is hypocritical to be fine with lowering your standards as a company while still expecting sellers to uphold pre-pandemic standards.
Hi @gwzcomps - customer support is available for callback ('Have us call you'), email and chat support through the Help & Contact links in the upper left hand corner of any eBay page. In addition, proactive calls ('Call Us') is available for certain categories.
You can also use social media to contact support on Twitter or Facebook, and they'll be able to assist with most topics.
Thanks!
I must beg to differ - there was multiple days last week when there was literally NO option in any format to contact customer service. The "Have Us Call You" option specified that it was unavailable when you clicked on it. No links available for email or chat.
This problem seems to be getting worse, not better.

Hi. Managed Payments just began for me, frustrating that I have to wait 3-4 days for eBay to even process my money. Anyway, now that fees are being taken out automatically, will there be a monthly report we can generate for our total fees? I see they are listed individually, but would prefer not adding up hundreds of transactions.
@2013fitzp I have to give a disclaimer. As someone who is not an expert on managed payments I may not be able to address your question in its entirety. If you have been notified to register for managed payments you are able to request a call back from a payments-trained teammate by accessing any of the Help Pages related to payments and using the 'Have us call you' feature at the bottom of the page.
The information provided is accurate as of today's date (08 12 2020) but may become outdated in the future. If you are reading this at a later date please consider checking the Help Pages or request a call back from a managed payments teammate who can provide the most up to date information.
Fees that are taken automatically will be included on the monthly invoice as already paid.

What is going on with the "About Me" page? (Or Member Profile page, or whatever it's called) At one time it included my followers and those I was following....that information has been removed from the page. Is this a glitch, or an actual change? And if a change, why was it made?
Also, there used to be a link on the Feedback page to the About Me page.....that link appears to have been removed. Same question: glitch or change? If change, why?

@cs-marketplace wrote:Im pleased to see someone else highlighting this. I have started managed payments today and no matter where I look, I cant find anyway of getting a report that will total all the fees up. 500+ sales a month is going to be a lot of work t sit and add up when the old system would just need a page downloaded and forwarded to the accountant. Anyone who can see something im missing and where to generate a simple report, please say. Thanks
There is a report that you can download into a worksheet program that will give you most of the details on the transactions. There is some info missing and they are working on improving the information, but you can get your fees paid there. You will have to total the columns, but the data is there.
There is another report called the Monthly Financial Statement that is a printable summary report. However this is a monthly report, so you won't have access to it until September, once you complete your first calendar month in the program.

I'm not sure I have the latest ebay app on my phone (My Android version might be too old to support it), but recently Jamie (I think it was Jamie) mentioned that our stores were being shown on the app now. Can you explain this change? Maybe include a screen shot? I know the app has been more listing oriented than store oriented, so I'd be very interested in seeing any changes that will give our stores more presence on the app.

Is there a specific board for managed payments??
If not should there be??
Hi @donsdetour - there is! You can post general questions about payments on the Payments Board (link here).
If you have pre-registered or been moved over to managed payments there is also a group you can request to join (link here). Approvals typically take up to a day during the week (Monday through Friday).
Thanks!

Re: Managed Payments private board support ... or LACK OF
The MP support is horrible ... I posted issues with the Transaction CSV report over the weekend and JUST late this afternoon received a reply ... which basically said it would be passed on ...
I have another set of questions I posted yesterday about having the ability to CHANGED the Payout day from Tuesday to either Wednesday or Thursday ... still no response.
It was obvious back in June that eBay was not and would not and will not be able to support MP because of under staffing due to the Pandemic from China ... this is the biggest change in eBay's recent history involving MILLIONS of Sellers and for those who have been newly Indoctrinated, like myself, top of the line support is required but NOT being delivered.
