your postage country and app country are different

Hi,

i have recently sold my first item (until now i have just bought items)

When i try to generate activate and genereate the postage label i receive the following message that postage country and app country are different.

I have checked the settings in ebay and they to be right.

The item sold states correct adress and the setting in ebay ”country” is correct.

Everything looks right but system still says that postage country and app country differs What should i do?

You can not use Media Mail to ship this item.  Actually you can't use the USA postal system at all if you are not shipping from the USA.  Your listing was not set up correctly.  You will have to use whatever service you have available to you in your country to ship the item.

Hi @khasmah11 @virtual_frippe . Sellers located outside the US cannot purchase postage on eBay.com - you will need to purchase shipping from your local carrier, then go to the eBay transaction and add tracking.

What about the postage that the buyer has already paid? Do I need pay for the postage again by myself? My buyer has paid for both the item and postage

Buyer pays eBay item + shipping + tax.
eBay takes selling fees on that total amount.
eBay remits sales tax to buyer's state/country.
eBay sends the balance item + shipping (less fees) to the seller.
Seller uses the funds to buy a shipping label.

eBay gives sellers the buyer's shipping money after taking out their fees so you can use it to purchase the label. View your transaction details here:
