verification to get into Ebay each time . WHY WHY WHY? it is not necessary EVERY TIME

Lately every single time, I sign into EBAy up pops a captiva or lock puzzle to get in . this is not necessary and sometimes after verification, it makes you verify again. WHY WHY WHY?

Don't tell me this is happening again. I was caught in this loop for the entire summer. all 3 of my accounts had a continuous loop of sing in requests. I used different browsers, cleared history, allowed cookies and pop ups. Nothing worked. Called CS with no help over months of loop logins. finally I could not get into my account at all. Finally I got stateside CS in Utah and was told it was an ongoing problem that they had a projection date of repair for 6 months out.  That was last summer and the repair time frame window is closing. I fixed my account by logging in from my phone and completing the enter code response that I got from the app. I never got that option from my PC. I have been fine since

eBay is back at it again only this time I need to verify myself to sign out. I didn't need to do that last time.

Can someone please explain 1. Why verification is even needed to get into my account when the correct password is being used and 2. Why

verification is needed to sign out of the same account verification was needed to log into.

Ditto here and its getting annoying. I'm in MALAYSIA. But these few days, another funny glitch appears again. This time it's about being able to get in, seeing all the postings but all the uploaded images seems to vanish the minute one clicks onto any of the listings. All the pictures totally vanish including those on MyEbay etc. Somebody help?

If the images disappearing happens on multiple devices using different browsers, then it could be caused by a local network issue or else something further upstream. If you are using a VPN, try disabling it. Make sure your firewall is not blocking images.ebay.com, too.

You might have better results using a different country site such as ebay.com.au or ebay.ca instead, at least for bidding or non-listing/selling activities.
