My view counter is now magically going backwards. From 6 views down to 2 inside a couple hours. I gave up weeks ago trusting those are remotely accurate anyway. Having viewed my items from a browser not logged into my account...it never ticks up one.
But backwards is as insane as "watchers less than 5 don't drive sales." B-A-L-O-N-E-Y. Before ebay decided to hide watchers, I sold many, many more items with 1-3 watchers than 5-12. Views now effectively stop after 3 days. Is this one of the "we fixed the technical issues" not detailed in ebay's meaningless announcement?
Please somebody reassure me that the nonsense about items having to be listed for at least 14 days and also not on sale in the last 14 has gone away so we sellers can run a sale whenever WE see fit? I know the "14 days listed" is more baloney. I added items to current sale that have now been listed for 16 days (and have not been on sale prior) and ebay still claims "price" for why they are not included. Meaningless term as it's not related to price.
I dream for the day ebay takes its nose out of running sellers into the ground. Things worked so much better as a free market. Stop telling sellers where to price. Stop forcing them into bankruptcy trying to compete with all the cut-rate listings from other sellers shown on our listings. I'm tired of paying and paying to advertise sellers' items.
Community long gone as they try to make themselves Amazon. Newsflash ebay. That ship has sailed.
God bless my other avenues to sell. They have SMOKED ebay in the last 9 months. Which really isn't saying much as other than the month before Christmas, the last 12 months have been worse month on month.
Small sellers don't matter to ebay. But we can't become big sellers without sales. Rant off (for now).

My glich is the main photo of the item in many of my listings has been replaced by a stock photo.
I tried re- uploading the photos, I tried filling in all 12 photo spaces with pics, but the UGLY stamp sized stock photo will not go away. Ironic thing is I can now have an unlucky 13 photos in these listings, but the 1st pic is the unwanted stock photo.

I just posted the following to the Ebay community and repeat it here should anyone have any ideas on how sellers are being impacted:
I have noted that there are multiple reports of technical issues related to seller's ablity to see counter data on current listings. These issues have hampered my ability to monitor performance of my listings - this raises several concerns that can not be determined at the sellers end. Are they poorly written so the search capability is less than it could if written differently? Are they really being viewed at a normal frequency but not apparent to the seller? Or, are they over-priced so they are not attracting views? Are there really zero views for a item that usually attracts multiple views in a short period of time?
I suspect that there are other issues not being reported that are actually impacting the buyers ability to find items or identify items that a seller lists. I have noted a dramatic drop in bids and sales in the last week over the same period of the previous 3 weeks. Is it simply the holiday week? Usually there are more buyers during these periods so I don't think that is the case. Ebay states that only the seller is impacted by the inability to see views - but it seems to me that since sales seem to be impacted, there is likely an issue with a potential buyer to be attracted to an item or his/her ability to bid on an item. If anyone can shed some light on any impact to attract sales, please chime in. Thank you.

Everytime ebay tries to fix/improve stuff, selling comes to a halt and things go haywire. leave what works alone...how could you know unless you use the platform? Last night I "promoted" 184 items of which 18 made the promo and listed on sale...**bleep**? We pay too much for a mere sorry to suffice.

I revised my "fixed" shipping to "calculate" on all my items for sale. The problem now is my items aren't updating to "calculate" shipping. It shows in my Active Selling, but not on the listing itself. Is this part of the "technical issues" Ebay is supposedly having? Thanks for any help!

Im going to say the progress is not great. I have had 2 days now this week that ive had no sales. This is abolutley crazy for me. I have all good products that I have been seemlessly selling. I want to know how they are going to fix this with the sellers. Many sellers are full time and this is what we do for our job and to make a house hold income. The message they sent out was very vauge and didnt express to much of what was going on.

I'd like to point out many more technical issues which have not been mentioned above;
These issues have been going on throughout the month of June; From Seller Hub; "Orders Awaiting Payment" shows blank screen (I know I have orders awaiting payment), "Orders Awaiting Shipment" - same. FEEDBACK - you can see the items but when you click on Leave Feedback for an item, it goes to a blank screen. Most of my items are light and I offer ebay's global shipping AND First Class International. I noticed there were zero international sales, my defaults are set correctly. Suddenly, ALL of my listings excluded all countries except USA and no amount of editing would change that. I called ebay and after 2 hours they agreed there was a problem. I could list many more technical problems.... I agree that ebay just doesn't care about the small seller.
