sort by price not working

While doing searches I'll usually sort by price and shipping, 'lowest first'

Hasn't been working for many days now !

What issue are you experiencing?

I have seen some reports of the "sort" drop-down not working for some folks using Chrome and IE on Windows 7. It seems to be working for me, though.

Note that sponsored listings have recently begun appearing at the top (and bottom?) of search results (including completed results). Those sponsored listings are not subject to sort rules, but can be removed and sorted correctly by using an ad blocker.

Likewise frustration on the app. I use sort from high to low, which is working on my older saved searches, but not on new searches or new saved searches. Please fix this ebay!!

....same here.  Very frustrating.  Sorting items not working on current or completed listings.  Want to sort Highest + Price / Shipping...does not work for a while now.  Please fix!

Can you give an example of a search that is not sorting correctly for you? I suspect that the issue is sponsored listings appearing at the top of your sort.

If sponsored listings are the problem, see this thread for details of how to remove them from the top of your sort using an ad blocker:

Here is an example of a search....I am a buyer and a seller and I research value through current and completed listings.  I now do not get clear search results based on highest or lowest price.  It really confuses the search and very frustrating.

looking for highest value for this search....sponsored listings at the top are NOT the highest priced item.

Sponsored listings are placed at the top regardless of the sort; this is apparently a new thing that eBay has started doing. I do not know exactly when, because I was using an ad blocker and did not see the sponsored listings until I turned off ad blocking to investigate search results recently.

Other than the sponsored listings, the sort order looks correct to me. But I did notice that in some browsers (Opera and Avast Secure Browser), the listings with price variations did not show the price ranges that were clearly visible in Firefox, Chrome and Edge. If your browser is not showing you price ranges, it is possible that the items that seem out of order have a higher priced variation that you may have to open the item to see.

What browser are you using? Adding an ad blocker and unchecking "allow acceptable ads" did not remove the sponsored listings from the top of the search results sort?

When I turn on ad blocking the sponsored ads do not appear at the top of the search results page, but rather sort correctly. I am using Ad Block Plus in Firefox on a Windows 10 machine. Perhaps Ad Block (which is different from Ad Block Plus) does not work the same way.

Thanks again for the response.  Re - what browser.....I am using AdBlock in Safari....and Re - Adding an ad blocker and unchecking "allow acceptable ads" did not remove the sponsored listings from the top of the search results sort?  ......There is No option to uncheck "allow acceptable ads" but I have the option to uncheck "allow some non-intrusive ads" which I am assuming is the same thing?

I am not sure if the version of Safari available for Windows machines is similar to the version you are using.

If Ad Block is not working for you to remove sponsored listings, I would suggest trying AdBlock Plus for Safari, it should have the option to uncheck "allow acceptable ads" in the settings, and the version I am using has worked for me to remove those sponsored listings from the top spots on my search results page.

I had the same problem, could not find the answer anywhere, Called eBay they knew of the problem but not how to fix it. While I was waiting for a supervisor, I found out what the problem was. If your search  words don't have an exact match in their search engine you don't get the low to high sort option, only on searches with words that match items listed.
