So I went to sign in and got this very terrible sign in page using edge. The issue was not present using chrome. I do not feel like having to purge my browsers data as ebay is the only website I have ever had to do this on. Perhaps in a few years someone from ebay will look into the issue and fix the changes they made with out testing them before they changed the site. Or at the very least tested their changes to make sure their changes worked correctly. After all functionality of a commerce driven website would just be stupid.
The very ugly new page did have my stored data and sign in info. After I signed in it went to the normal ebay start page. King of **bleep**ed up since this was my link to their old selling page which usually works better than their **bleep**ed up seller hub that never works properly for at least 8 months. I am so glad they changed my landing page so that I have no choice to use their broken never fixed hub and constantly mess with links and book marks that access the old working functional selling page.
I have posted this in multiple places while most likely ebay will not address, acknowledge, or fix this issue 100 dollars says their reps will pull the posts for the lame excuse of being duplicate complaints. Kind of like sweeping dirt under a rug out of sight out of mind.

How did you reach that page? Via a bookmark? I don't recognize that URL.
For comparison, here's the new sign-in page:
And here's the old one:

Half the time you go to log in these days ebay will have you signed out despite the options to stay signed in being selected. I had gotten signed out somehow. However once signed in if I sign out this page comes up. When using chrome the sign in page is normal. No other websites are having any issues displaying the proper page with edge. It is almost like there is a script error or something. Really I am just voicing my frustration with the constant changes to their site that are never tested that create problem after problem that never gets fixed. Even if other users have the same issue I doubt much time and resources would get invested into fixing this issue because after signing in the rest of the site displays properly. It is almost as if they decided to go back to the original older Internet with no images from the early 90's lol.

When the new sign-in page was launched, there was a problem with Edge users not being able to stay signed-in despite checking the box on the sign-in page. I don't know if the problem was ever addressed, but there is another "keep me signed-in" checkbox at the bottom of the account settings preferences page that does seem to work.
Still not sure why you get that broken sign-in page -- that's not what most folks are seeing, as far as I can tell.

Most likely the issue is or was not being seen by all users because there are most likely multiple servers being used to sign in and the issue may not be on all of their servers. The issue appears to have gone away but that could just mean I hit a different server when testing signing out and in today. With all the on going issues they have I doubt they did anything to look into and fix this issue. When you look at the sign in page they clearly made a change to it and added a new sign in method using google. My guess would be they made the change and implemented it then did not test it on all of their servers to make sure it is working properly. Unfortunately this seams to be the new norm for ebay make changes and do not test the functionality of the changes. In any IT field testing is a basic step to ensure the job was done correctly. However I would not be surprised if some high up has stopped this to save time and money, but the dumb thing is not doing basic steps like this actually cost you more in the long run when problems arise. There have been a few post about looking at their employees resumes on linkedin. They actually are quite funny because other than using myspace or facebook a large number of their employees actually have no formal training and should not be in the job role they currently have.
