you know ... 3 months this has been going on
it is like eBay just gave up
but at least it's not just targeting sellers since this affects buyers as well

and there are actually that many available to look at?
because when I go to the bottom there are no additional pages
here is a screenshot of the bottom of the same page

Some of the listings are variation listings like the rhinestones that come in different sizes and colors. Each combination counts as a separate result in the search.
This search turns up one listing, but it counts as 24 results since there are 24 combinations of sizes and colors:

not true
but I have seen that ridiculous answer more than once regarding this issue and have always wondered if you think it's actually plausible or you just like to be purposefully illogical thinking some one would buy that answer.
if they say 501 items that is what we should see
look at this seller
https://www.ebay.com/sch/amazinglotust/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
all of his items are listed and 50% are repititous
btw i had no specific search criteria
i picked 'al items ' and that is what I expect to see
i bet if that were YOUR listings you would be pretty unhappy

just talked to eBay support
they went to the page
said some thing is definitely wrong
found other repetitions of the same error
were quite concerned
but
i am doubtful anything will come of it

Sorry you don't like my answer. Or those other ones that you have seen more than once, but don't find plausible.

I notice there are 468 results and less than 400 actual items listed. I did not check them all, but I would guess that some of the items are variations -- it's hard to say since unless there is a price range, it's not immediately apparent.

Are there items of yours that have been listed more than 24 hours that do not appear in the results? Could you provide an item number or a link?
i bet if that were YOUR listings you would be pretty unhappy
Since I don't actually know what you are expecting to see, it's hard to know whether you should be happy or not, or whether I should be happy in your place.

there needs to be a 'USELESS' icon under the 'HELPFUL' icon

please explain why this sellers page works

while the other doesn't

A ton of that seller's listings are multiple quantity and/or multi-variation.The "504 results" the search page indicates is the TOTAL number of items offered in the listings shown in the search results, and NOT the number of listings that match the search. You do the math. Go into each of those 42 search results and add up the number of items (have to guess at a lot because not all are avail qty numbers are shown), but at 10 items offered per listing that would be 420.
I missed reading the rest of eburtonlab's measured explanatations to you, and your loathsome responses.
You are on you own from now on. *plonk*
