We usually reply to ebay messages by replying to the email in our inbox (vs going to eBay's page and replying within their messaging system).  This has worked for as long as i can remember (been selling since 2000).  For the last day or so, every reply we send comes back with "We were not able to send your message to xxxxxxx".

 

I can send them fine through eBay messaging, it just doesn't work for keeping track of tickets and whatnot.  Anyone else having the same issue?

Same here! Been happening consistently since this morning (2020-08-07)

We get exactly the same error message, just in german...

Still got this issue, hopefully it will be fixed until the beginning of the next week.

Yeah same thing.  This has been absolutely annoying.  Needs to be fixed.

We're having the same glitch as well.  We tried it on 5 different computers in our commercial office, which all experience the same error when sending.  I also logged in at home, to make sure it wasn't an IP conflict, and we get the same "We were not able to send your message" error.  We receive hundreds of emails a day via eBay, so utilizing the eBay messaging center really isn't economical. The issue started on 8/6/2020 at approximately 11:00 AM CST.  

 

We are utilizing Mozilla's Thunderbird email client and have our own internal email host.  If this isn't a widespread issue, I'm betting there is a TBird setting or recent security change that is causing a conflict with eBay Bots.

 

If anyone has resolved the issue, please post in this thread for the benefit of everyone that is suffering.

Ours seems to be fixed.  We're working through Live Agent, so it's not a T-Bird issue.

Thanks tremendously for reading my very first  message into eBay’s “Community.”  Ever since 2020 began...or probably  since late 2019...almost every eBay “Message” that I have tried to “Send”...has only met with “...Failed to Send. Looks Like Page Expired; Please Re-Load & Try Again.”   This “verdict” stares my face even after any message of under 500 characters...without any photos.  (Also: How do you “change a browser”?)  PLEASE help...and thank you in advance!

Confirmed fixed for us too. Hopefully we can continue answering tickets as normal on Monday now...
