"We ran into a technical problem"

This message keeps popping up in my cart saying "We ran into a technical problem" and to try back later. I can't add anything to my cart, bids that I've won won't load into the cart, nothing.. I received 2 invoices from a seller and purchased the two items. After purchasing them, they won't leave my cart even though they're marked purchased, and can't add anything to my cart. I signed out and back in. Turned off the app. Purchased the items that were in my cart, but the two items are still there even though they're purchased and keeps saying the message "We are having technical problems". Can someone please help me please 🙏?

Try using a browser instead of the app to see if that makes any difference.

 

I believe it is possible to purchase individual items without using the cart at all by using the Buy-it-Now option, or the "Pay now" link for auctions you have won.

 

If you must use a cart to purchase multiple items from the same seller, it is possible to do so by signing in to a different eBay site. Each country site has its own cart system, so if you sign in to ebay.ca or ebay.co.uk or ebay.com.au, you can use that cart to combine items.

Yes it allows me to purchase items individually, but won't load any buy it now items or bids won into my cart. Those 2 cards that I've purchased remain in the cart. Sometimes I use the apps Klarna or Zip for larger orders so you can pay over time. So if I go into one of the eBay.ca sites will all my items saved for later in my cart still be there along with all my items marked as "favorite" show up? Thank you for helping me, I really appreciate it..

I tried using the browser and it still says it and won't load any of my bids won into the cart. Just keeps saying "We ran into a technical problem"

Each country site has a separate cart or basket, so none of your Cart or Saved for Later items will appear on other sites. You can use your Watch List and Recently Viewed list or other account features.

 

I have not used Klarna or Zip, so I do not know if they are available on other country sites.

Thank you for assisting me through this I greatly appreciate you.. So I just hopped on and added an item that was saved for later into my cart, and those two items/cards that weren't going away finally just disappeared and my new won bids loaded into my cart. I then added a buy it now item that I had marked as a favorite and the same message popped up and wouldn't add it. So I did the same thing and added the same "save for later " item into my cart, and it allowed me to add that buy it now item to my cart lol. Idk what's going on. I'm just glad that I found a temporary solution. Thank you kindly for all your help! Hope you have a great New Years! 🤙🫶🥳
