"Time remaining" Not displaying properly on summary view page.

Another bug/glitch is  now occuring on my Summary page.  Started within the last few days.  The time remaining on my bids and veiwed items will not display.  All it shows "Time Remaining" where it use to show the actual time remaining i.e. clock/hours or number of days remaining before auction ends.  Sometimes by refreshing the page it will come back, but not consistantly.  This is a very annoying problem.  I am missing out on items because I cant tell when the listings end.  This is Very much like the missing view counter problem.

I have no idea, other than Ebay is implementing some new feature to the page on just cant leave things alone.  What ever it is, it needs to stop.   I get a few weeks where everything was working fine and then it gets screwed up again.  

Also anyone else note how slow Ebay pages are loading now?  Very suspicious If you ask me.  For what the Summer update did to sellers and buyers, I can only wonder and cringe to think of what the Fall updates will do.  Do we really need an update?  Do we really need to sign in through Facebook?  ....... More unnecessary **bleep**.

The same thing has just started happening to me as well, I though I'd inadvertently changed a setting. This needs fixing and pronto, how on Earth can we bid on items properly without the remaining time being shown!

This started on my ebay page yesterday, and it's still happening now.  As of right now, nothing I do will change it from saying "Time Left" instead of showing the actual time left in the auction.

Is the Summary your My eBay landing page?

If so, try this link to see if it is any different:

If not, how does your Watching page look? It's not a solution, but it might serve as a temporary workaround until eBay fixes things.

This just began happening to me too. I see your problem began in August and now it's almost mid September. For me it started 2 days ago. How could they have not fixed it by now. 

I changed to using the Summary page because I didn't care for the new design of the watch page and then this occurred. At least I can see how muich time is left by using the regular Ebay Watch page. I just don't like it.

I think the problem in August was fixed after a day or two; hopefully this one will be a quick fix as well.

Same problem here. It started last night. I can't use the new Watch List page, as it requires so much scrolling, and it gives me a headache just to look at it. So I use the Watch List on my summary page. No "time left" since yesterday.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is being done on purpose to get us to use the new ugly watchlist. I mean, they have a habit of taking useful tools from my ebay to make us use what they want us to use.

I already sent a tip report to our technical department and rest assures that this issue will be taken care of. I trust that our technical department will be able to look further and investigate about this matter to resolve this issue soon. What we can do for now is to wait for the technical issue to be resolved. You don't have to worry because once we receive an update from our technical team; we will be sending you an email right away in order for you to continue with your activity.

Nancy, I am fully aware that you have already exhausted your time and effort on this issue and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding while our technical team is fixing this issue as soon as possible. What we ask from you now is to extend your patience a little bit while we are waiting for updates about the status of this technical issue.

I sent a plainly worded message, 4 screenshots and luckily know enough about databases from my computer guru spouse, that I was able to point out a tiny bit of the problem.

I hope this resolves the issue.......again. 

Of course, I lost a bid tonight about an hour before I got this email, due to this "issue".

Sounds like the same old song and dance to me.  I have missed several bids in the last few days as a result of this problem.  I kind of doubt they are working very hard to fix the problem. It worries me and makes me wonder, If a simple countdown timer goes down as a result of some "UPDATE", what else has changed??  The last time the timer went down ( it has happened before) it started a cascade effect where other functions stopped working.   This problem is direct result of Ebays tampering with the system.   Does anyone remember lasts years "Best Match"  problem that wrecked the watch lists last fall......

Ebay fix the problem.  Stop messing up things that work....

what makes me think this is all on purpose is, the countdown in the ugly new watchlist page, the countdown works.

Possibly eBay is in the process of updating the Summary page to make it look more like the ugly new Watch List page, and they figure that it's not worth fixing the old one in the mean time.

But if the old "all lists" page countdown stops working, that would be evidence that it was on purpose.
