"Something went wrong" when issuing refund.

A customer returned an item and I cannot issue a refund to them because I keep getting "something went wrong" when issuing it. I've emailed ebay support about it and got an automated answer on how to issue a refund (gee thanks guys). Currently, I have until the 27th to issue the refund otherwise I face the wrath of ebay. I've messaged the customer as well, but I have received zero response from them as well. I should note that I have two-factor authentication enabled on my PayPal account and am not sure if this is interfering with the refund process. I know I can refund via PayPal, but according to the help page on refunds I will not recieve a final value fee credit if I do so, so I am inclined to get it done on here.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

"Something went wrong" when issuing refund.

Figured it out: needed funds in my paypal account. This can be closed.
