Often when I search for large, bulky items it is difficult to impossible to use advanced search to obtain a useful and complete result.
It IS possible to find those available for "Local Pickup" that are near me by using the "Within x Miles" filter.
HOWEVER...
When searching for "Free Shipping", it should NOT include "Local Pickup Only" items from everywhere that do not offer any shipping method. While "Local Pickup" is technically "Free", it is NOT "Shipping".
As an extreme example, here (Lamps for sale | eBay) is a search for "lamps", sorted by price descending, with a "Free Shipping" filter.
In my results, it shows some items priced in the 6 figures that do not have "Free Shipping", and are "Local Pickup Only" far, far from me.
(Ironically, this Pickup Only result lined up nicely with the filter but is actually only a couple hours drive - two listings down though is another Pickup Only listing a half dozen states away. But THIS listing (1908 Oldsmobile Series 20 4 Passenger Touring Sedan | eBay ) DOES provide for FREIGHT QUOTES - i.e. NOT FREE SHIPPING!)
YMMV, but I would wager you have some similar results.
