Sent feedback removal request through the site July 10, did not receive the usual confirmation email from eBay. Checked status today, July 11, got this message:
"Feedback not removed
Due to a technical issue, we were unable to complete your request. Please contact Customer Service for additional help."
Customer service contact through chat sends me to a "send us an email" window (maybe because today is Sunday?) I sent an email, but once again have not received the usual confirmation email ("we have received your message...").
Just a glitch? An issue with my email account? Known technical issue?
Incidentally the FB removal request was for a reason "beyond my control" (package was shipped next business day, eBay told buyer to expect it to arrive by July 10, it didn't arrive on the 10th so they negged me that same day, didn't even wait for the package.) Don't even get me started on the new FB interface that prompts buyers to leave feedback the minute they complete the purchase. 😕
