For the past 3 years, nearly every time I go to look something up "too quickly", I have to solve a captcha. I don't even type fast, but unless I put 10 or so seconds in between a query, eBay thinks I'm a "bot". Despite moving and having a completely different IP address, it still happens.
Despite having "keep me signed in" checked, I have to sign in randomly 2-3 times per day as well. I might be shipping out 10 items and have to randomly sign in half way through.
But now for about the past 3 months, I get this message now. When it appears, I cannot sign in, sell anything, buy anything, or ship anything, so it was very damaging to my business. Support via phone was completely useless and they have no idea what was causing this. Clearing cookies, using a private window, a different browser does not help as it appears to be tied to the IP address.
The only work around I discovered is resetting my password.
Can someone from tech support please look at my account? This is getting ridiculous.
I've googled this as well and found other people having the same issue, with no answer either.

Tech does not see these posts. Contact them through ebay Facebook pages or help section. You have to get to a page where it says basically says "call me". Then you inout your number and hope they call you back.

Is there a separate department for IT or tech issues? Because the general support I always reach has no idea what I'm talking about.

Are you using the same computer every time?
Sounds like a issue with something on your end loosing connectivity,
Or your OS/Browser is seriously old and the SSL connection fails

Are you getting that message in searches or in ASQs for sellers?
I've received the message if I send a lot of questions to different sellers in a fairly short amount of time.
I've never received it when searching.

No, only when searching.

You might want to post more details like:
Those details will be much more helpful in analyzing the issue that anything regarding the damage to your business, etc.

What sort of searches are you doing?
Is this using Terapeak? I have heard of users having problems running into the maximum number of searches per day using Terapeak.
I have also heard of users having problems signing in to the eBay app multiple times per day, and getting a similar message.
I do a lot of searching (a lot of searching -- I often perform dozens of searches simultaneously in different browser tabs) and I have never encountered that message due to an eBay search of current or ended listings.
There is an entirely different message that appears if eBay thinks you are a bot scraping content -- it starts with "Pardon our interruption". See here for some details of that issue:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Buying/Pardon-Our-Interruption-we-think-you-re-a-bot/m-p/31522393
There may be something odd about your network setup or your searches that is triggering that message from eBay.
Are you able to search when not signed in to your current eBay account?
It might be worth creating a second eBay account and seeing if you run into the same problem.

Oh and I'm just using my phone ( android) but I always do 98% of the time and there's been days where I search sold listing just on regular ebay app (not terapeak or anything ) way more times than I did today and never received that message before. I'm going to reach out shortly to a rep even though there useless in my most humble opinion.
