problem saving sellers

Hi, I have been having this problem for a while now...when I try to save a seller to my list I get taken to the sign in page, and when I try to sign in it just keeps looping back to the sign in page, no error message and my saved sellers list is not full.  Just signing in to use ebay is not a problem, only when I try to save sellers.  If anyone knows what could be wrong please help 🙂

Been having that same problem myself for about a month or two. Someone please address this problem.

problem saving sellers

It's now July and I am still having the same problem.  Sometimes I get an error message saying I have too many searches saved, but I have only a couple searches and far fewer than 100 sellers saved.  When it seems like it will work, I get taken to the sign in page over and over as stated above.

When I searched here for solutions to this problem, I saw many posts from 2018 which also refer to it!

It seems that I am not the only one suffering from the same symptom and the one impression I have is ... are we limited to how many total seller we can save ?

To date I have not found a single solution or at least a remedy that sheds a light to why it keeps logging me out and any subsequent attempt to repeat the exercise is simply futile as it keeps looping back to the sign-in page, it's frustrating!

Judging by  goodgrief2's post dated 11/May/2019; I do wonder if the so-called ebay-technical department ever bothers reading our concerns posted on the forum at all !?!?!?

Your question has reached the US community.

I have no doubt that someone at eBay reads these posts. But this is a community discussion board. They may not actively pursue your issue or may not report the issue to the correct team. Especially since you are posting at about 5-6 am your time.

eBay sends posts to the eBay community (English speaking) that may best be able to answer your issue, during a 'waking' time zone.

Wait until your local 'business day'. Then use this link - https://www.ebay.com.au/help/home

Follow the help tree.

eBay is continually updating this site. Some advice given may have changed. Please reply to this thread, to let us know if this advice works for you. The links on the bottom of any eBay page can help you deal with most eBay issues. Contact eBay Customer Service on Facebook.com/eBay or Twitter.com/AskeBay

US users are limited to 100 saved sellers.  I think we're also limited to 70 searches.

I'm having this problem despite having nowhere near so many of either.

[A general reply pasted from another thread]:

I have found Saved Sellers and Saved Searches to each be a buggy mess; neither can be relied on. The discussion boards are full of complaints about users not receiving Saved Search emails, or else receiving emails from zombie searches that cannot be found or deleted. Likewise, users complain of being unable to add or delete Saved Sellers, despite being well under the limit of one hundred.

Going forward, your best bet may be to find another way to keep track of searches and sellers that you have more direct control over -- by using bookmarks of searches or sellers' "items for sale", links pasted into a file or an email, or third party automated search tools. Google "automated searches ebay" for some possible suggestions.
