"We ran into a problem. Please try again later." When trying to pay fees. Anyone?

I've tried several times over a few hours. Called CS. They sent me a link to the payment page and it still didn't work. Tried 2 credit cards AND a bank account. Same message. Tried doing it through my phone. Same freaking message. Am I the only one today with these problems? And the site seems a little laggy

Same here bama_vintage.I called ebay July 9 was told it would be fixed in 24 hours which was 13 hours ago.It still will not work.I was told to call back if I could not get it to work.I called accounting when I called July 9 and will call back friday July 11,2019.

It's still not working.

I have talked to nice eBay people twice in the last 48 hours.  eBay knows there is a problem. They are "working on it".  

I do not know anything about fixing errors on complicated websites like eBay but I would think that something as important as customers not paying their fees would be of the highest possible priority to be fixed. But this problem happened to me over 48 hours ago and it is not fixed yet.

Very sad and depressing.

Same problem on my end too. I use ebay gift cards, and when I go to make a purchase it says click a payment option to use it. When I do that it says it won't let me use it(as I have no funds on my other payment options), and the cards automatically load up to be used. When I click to purchase it though it says something went wrong. -- Even before that though I could not click my ebay cards unless I selected an option. It's very odd, but nice to know the problem just isn't on my end. I feel bad about saying I'd leave. =X I'm sure ebay is working on the issue though.

(I was starting to think it was related to not paying a sellers fee. As I was charged on a free month and didn't intend to pay it.)

Same thing here. I've been trying to pay for the stuff in my cart for the last 4 days!!

I had the same problem trying to send a seller a message about an item that arrived damaged. 

I immediately called customer service. "Try again later" is not an option when eBay holds you to deadlines for things like paying fees or resolving transaction issues. You have no idea how much "later" you will need to wait.

"We are working on a technical issue and expect it to be resolved in 6 hours; please try again at that time" is an acceptable delay message.

If you are having trouble signing in to paypal from your checkout page, try using Internet Explorer. Some users experiencing problems have indicated they have had better results with Explorer than other browsers. If you have Microsoft Edge, there is an option to "Open in Internet Explorer" in the three dot menu on the right side of the menu bar.

Not sure if that problem is related to the eBay fee problem, though.

called customer service ebay several times, they only tell you it will be fixed.

Like others mentioned, it should be important to them to fix it, it's their money, but even there they don't care.

Happened now for more than 4 weeks.

googled and found a way around =

used firefox and had no problem to pay my bill

but I don't like to be ordered to use another browser

I worked with internet explorer a long long time and I always was happy

but now they push me into using firefox

Still will not let me pay my fees.It is supposed to charge my credit card automatically but says it has been declined.I try to pay them with a one time payment and its says unavailable try again later,BUT I can use the same credit card and pay for any purchases with NO problem.You would think ebay would fix this quick since it is money owed to them.Customer service is awful.

Just got it to work by going to pay pal and paying them with the same credit card.It will NOT work if you try to use the one time pay pal payment button.There is a glitch there.You have to log into pay pal separately and it will work.There is obviously a problem on ebays end with their links. Good Luck everybody
