paypal checkout not working unless i unlink and relink paypal account

as the title says, i cant use the checkout unless i click unlink paypal account, then re enter all my details and re link the paypal account. it worked for 1 transaction and then 20 minutes later for my next i couldnt use paypal!

same issue here, checkout won't recognise a selected PayPal option as a payment option, keeps saying 'select payment method' and will not allow checkout
