not receiving messages on website from 11-30 to 12-27

I have not received any messages on the eBay website since 11/30. In their customary client-unfriendly manner, there is no way to contact eBay to resolve this. Chat choices are limited to the barest minimum. Help topics are the same. There is no place where you can ask for technical help. I have changed a lot of my buying to Amazon because of this. Maybe I need to change my sales to Etsy and avoid the hassle.

What happens when you view your eBay message inbox page in a desktop browser?

Have you checked your Communication Preferences to verify that they are correct?

 

Have you been receiving email copies of eBay messages, if you have that set up?

Sorry so late getting back to you. Been sick.

   When I viewed my messages page, there was nothing there except the same old messages dated 11/30 & then one on  12/28.

   Communications preferences are all correct.

   I have it set up to receive copies of email messages in Outlook. Nothing came through there either.

   Now, just this morning, I received an ebay message "A new device is using your account." which is normal on my account. Copy still not being sent to my Outlook account.

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant that you reach from the Help & Contact page to request a chat with an agent or a call back.

 

What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.

 

Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
