missing money

2 weeks after payment for a sold item was due to be deposited into my bank account(verified in a message that it'd be in said account between 1 and 3 business days), still not there, with no notification messages of any kind about any issues. Finally get in touch with a person, after my bank account goes into the negative thanks to missing expected funds(only reason I found out the payment was never deposited), and she doesn't know why they payment never got transferred, tells me to delete my bank account from payment methods and then re-add it. The website, though, would not(and still won't) let me add it back, which was an issue she apparently knew about and told me AFTER I deleted it. All the while I was on the phone with her. She told me there's nothing she can do, to try the website again over the next 48 hours. Horrible timing for a glitch like this. Not happy 😭

@the_fenestration_project

Since you're a new seller, your funds are probably being held.

Want to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Independence Day.

@the_fenestration_project   Did eBay messaging have a "We sent you a Payout" message?

It gets in your bank account 1-3 days after the new seller 21 day hold is up.  You only have 3 feedbacks for selling. Until you have sold 25 items worth $250 your payments are held until tracking shows delivered, or in 21 days if there's no tracking.

When you talked to a csr it sounds like they were not aware of your new seller payment hold. I hope all that crap they told you to do didn't throw a wrench in your payouts.

I did, on the 12th. Said it'd take 1-3 business days to show.
