anyone else been having trouble getting your cursor to appear in the username field when trying to log in? I am using Chrome and even signing in has become a chore around here....the field seems frozen until i click on the password field and then I can place my cursor in the USER NAME field to log in.....

I use a Chrome browser on a Windows 10 machine and have not been having the trouble you describe.

Here is a link to the old pre-facebook sign in page that seems to be more reliable than the new sign in page -- bookmark it if it works better for you:

Some folks have indicated that they have problems with the new sign in page if they try to sign in before the page has completely loaded; the old simple sign in page seems to not have that problem (or else it just loads quicker).

i should have been more clear....

what the log-in field no longer allows is for me to highlight the entire user name so it can be deleted all at once.

It WILL allow this if I click on the password field first--only after that can I highlight the entire USERNAME for deletion.

I have more than one account so switching between them is now a bit of an unnecessary hassle.

Juggling accounts by signing out and back in is a huge pain. I find it easier to keep one account always signed in using one browser, and have another account in an entirely different browser. Makes it easier for me to keep track of which account is which. Or if you are using a phone, keep one account signed in to a browser, and the other signed in to the app.

I let the auto-fill do all the work, so switching between accounts is fairly easy, but not when the user name field doesn't let me highlight the entire user name because then the autofill won't kick in! Gah!
