is there a problem with making a counter offer to the buyer

Hi, I tried three times to make a counter offer to a buyers offer...it just resets to the make counter offer page...it does not send my counteroffer....anyone else having this problem-?

I tried reloading the ebay listing page- that does not help.

Just FYI, and not trying to deny or minimize your experience at all, but from the buyers' side I will say that I indeed received a counteroffer from a seller just today, so it's working for at least that seller!

eBay doesn't want sellers to take more money from the buyers. It's against the rules.

Kidding. I had the same problem a while ago, it fixed itself after awhile.

I called eBay- just got off the Phone with eBay rep...there is a Technical issue...eBay is trying to fix it as of now.

Just came here to the board for the same issue. Been trying to counter an offer for 15 minutes now. Cleared cache, logged out and back in, closed down browser... no good.

I just went through this 15 minutes ago. Finally got on my phone, opened the app, and it worked fine there. Just isn't working on desktop.
