I got through to a tech who hinted my account had been blocked because |I used it from more than one device **bleep**! However, after waiting 5 minutes as requested and signing back in - still no images. I'm also on Win10 but it's the same on Android - what is going on??

I've got exactly the same problem. Cannot view listing thumbnails or images on any browser. Extremely frustrating!

me too - no images, but everything else and all other websites normal - assume ebay host images on a different server i.ebayimg and it's down, as the 'site can't be reached'.  If everyone's having this problem it's going to hit ebay's revenues hard, so assume they'll be running around with their hair on fire....

Same issue. Some complicated construction in image section blocks loading data.

First 4 complaints are from UK, last one is from Russia...........  this is US board..........it would be better to post on local boards to see if there are local brower problems.  There was huge on in the UK last year......but not something US ebay could fix..........

same thing for me, images dont show on the bids page.

When you say bids page, do you mean the bids/offers page? Can you see eBay item images on any other page (search results, watch list, summary, item pages)?

Any common plug-ins used in all those browsers (such as an ad blocker)?

Any reason to think your firewall, antivirus or network might be blocking i.ebayimg.com?

Any way to easily try another computer or network to see if you run into the same problem? Using a phone with a browser when it is not on your wifi, perhaps?

@eburtonlab

let me start by saying that all was going fine until i decided to delete browsing history on my chrome (i only use chrome).. after doing that, all went wrong.

as you can see in the image i uploaded, photos dont show on Bids/Offers page as well as Purchase History and Summary. they show on Search Results, Item Page, and Watching page.

i dont have any ad blocked at all on any, and the Edge and Firefox have literaly nothing on them, and still same problem.

i dont understand, was deleting browsing history on Chrome the reason? or was it just a coincidence? if it is the reason, why would it affect Edge and Firefox?

i dont think it is firewall or antivirus or even network, as all these remained constant and i didnt change anthg in them, it just happened.

i tried opening ebay on my work computer using Chrome (i have Chrome synced with my profile on my work computer) and it worked fine.... which makes me think, is my laptop the problem?

i tried opening ebay on my phone browser on my wifi network, and the images showed properly..

but if my laptop is the problem, then why did edge and firefox get affected?

please help as this is becoming really frustrating.

Deleting your Chrome browsing history should not have any effect on Edge or Firefox. And even if you deleted all the cache files on Chrome, the next time those pages are loaded, all new images should be loaded as well.

Just because you did not make any changes does not necessarily mean that those programs or settings were not updated or changed, unfortunately.

If you have not already done so, some suggestions of things to try:

On one of the affected pages, try holding down the Shift key and refreshing the page (hard refresh).

Try explicitly signing out of eBay and signing back in.

Try quitting Chrome and shutting down your laptop (not just sleep or hibernation, but shut down completely) and then restart.

Try deleting your cache and eBay cookies in Chrome.

Although it is unlikely to be related, it is not a bad idea to do a virus scan, and perhaps a malware or adware scan of your computer. Some sorts of malware can have unpredictable effects.

For the past two months I've also had problems viewing listing images.

Sometimes they display OK, but I've had numerous times where there was only a blank white image for all of the listing photos or some of them.

The problem was worse in June, but is still happening.

No problems with any other websites ... this is clearly an issue on the eBay website.

Same here.  It started in June and is still not fully resolved.

Sometimes the listing photos will display and sometimes they don't (or only some will display).
