I made an offer on a best offer that had auto-pay. The offer was accepted and my card charged. Looking at my purchases it shows up. Looking at sellers items recent sales it does not show up. Searching for completed items on eBay it does not show up as a sale.
Is there any way to tell if the seller got notified of the sale and they should ship? I bought an item a week ago and no tracking provided (yet). I need the item so ordered another from another seller using same method with same results so far.
Is this a software glitch? and will I get one of the items or will I have to cancel sales after a couple weeks?

If it’s in your purchase history as paid then it’s a sale.
Sellers are notified when there is a sale and it will also show up in their “Awaiting Shipping” page in their Seller Hub.
Sellers aren’t required to use tracking.
So now you’ve bought 2 of the same item?
You have MBG (Money Back Guarantee)if you don’t receive your items by the last estimated date of delivery you can open an item not received for a refund.
ETA: you’re a seller don’t you already know how this all works?
You should also be aware buyers can’t cancel sales only sellers can.

I know how it works and it is not working
after a sale, when I search for an item on eBay I can go down on the left and hit SOLD items. When I do, the listings I bought do not show with all the other sales
this has only happened to me recently with best offer accepted and automatically instantaneously paid
It does not show in sellers recently sold list .... the only place I see it is in my purchased list.
