If you click on that sellers store.........it shows 0 items, so I think the seller has put the item on vacation.....you can still access item from the watch list, but it's not viewable in search until he removes the vacation block. Also, it seems an abnormally long handling time.

This is the 2nd time this has come up lately..... if you put the item # in Google, it will be accessible as well as from the watch list. Didn't there used to be a standard message (if this seller is on vac) showing on the listing itself?

Hi @dhbookds, while I am not able to go into specifics about this seller, I can confirm that there are a few reasons why someone's listings would not appear in their store or within search results. Most commonly, if a seller recently returned from vacation and turned off vacation mode, their items can take up to 24 hours to reappear in search or the storefront. Additionally, listings can be hidden as a consequence of a violation of one of our policies, most notably our off eBay sales initiatives. Typically an item can still be viewed if you have the item number, link to the listing or if it is in your watch list.
If you ever see a seller asking why their items are not visible and they have not recently listed the items, been on vacation or received a violation, I recommend encouraging them to contact customer service to have this reviewed for more context.

Trinton this thread is from a BUYER who can't understand why he can't buy from his watchlist.....or find the item in search.
There's no message, no nothing to tell the BUYERS what the problem is and they think it a technical problem that ebay needs to fix.
A message needs to be on the listing page........for THEM......... doesn't have to be a reason, just that the items can't be bought presently......

Hi @dhbookds, I can definitely understand why a buyer would have questions in a situation like this, unfortunately we aren't able to provide any kind of notice of why this would be happening without divulging potentially private information on the seller. There are a few reasons why a seller's listings may not be visible in search or within their storefront and a buyer can always reach out to the seller if they have concerns.
I do want to clarify that the listings can be purchased without issue, they simply cannot be found in search. If someone has a link to the listing specifically, either through their watch list, their cart or the URL, they can visit the listing and purchase as normal. I double checked the item number provided and was able to proceed to checkout without any blocks.

Thanks Trinton, I was assuming (sigh) the items weren't able to be purchased........
