Yes came here because I was going to post the same thing:

I'm on Chrome Version 124.0.6367.119, no adblocker enabled.
Some appear on mobile (Android), some do not.

I sent an email to customer service earlier on Friday and was told in the reply(Friday evening) that there she didn't yet see an official ticket despite the community forum mentioning this issue, was not able to recreate this same glitch through Google Chrome, and We ask for a few pieces of information to file an IT ticket to have this addressed for you. If you can provide us the following, we'll get this reported to IT as soon as possible to correct:

1. Example item number (up to 3 if possible)

2. Listing URL(s)

3. Browser used / device detail(s)

4. Screenshot of the page(s) showing the error

There was also a list of useless suggestions like clear cache, open a new tab, try a different browser, try a different device, and wait 24 hrs and see if the problem will go away on it's own. 

Basically unless more people report the problem to eBay customer service they aren't going to acknowledge there is a problem.

Many sellers are reporting that the 'descriptions' are missing from their listings.

I'm seeing the same issue.  It started yesterday.  This seems to affect desktop computers with a web browser (with Chrome, Firefox and MS Edge).  Getting tired of the kid in the rain coat.  It is affecting my own listings AND a few others that I stumbled across (by other sellers).

The same items, when viewed in the eBay app (on iOS and Android) usually look just fine - the description is presented, no kid with a rain coat, etc.

Same issue, most of the listings i have checked on my account have raincoat kid and "we looked everywhere". 20+ years on ebay, this is a problem I've not seen before.
