eBay wouldn't let me accept an offer. I found a workaround but still....

I sent an offer of $38 to a watcher.   The watcher counter-offered $35.  I accepted the offer, but got this message on my screen (red part)

I tried 3 times to accept his counter-offer but kept getting this same message.

However, it was possible to counter-offer, so I sent the buyer a counter-offer of $34 and he was able to accept it and pay.

Anybody else have this situation today?

The same thing has happened to me this morning, so frustrating !!

I will also add that the notification bell did not let me know that I had an offer.

There was no pop up on my screen either.

I just happened to see it in my messages.
